How does insurance and insurance reimbursement work?

  1. If you are a performer and you have an open workers’ comp case, we are happy to see you!

  2. Otherwise, we are an out of network clinic. Here are a few things to know about that:

  • If you have out of network benefits, we are happy to send you a SuperBill so you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Just fill out our SuperBill request form and we will be sure to send one your way!

  • At the end of each session, you’ll be responsible for paying the fee for your session.  You’ll be responsible for paying this fee regardless of whether or not you have out of network coverage.

Scheduling a session

  1. All patients can schedule, reschedule and cancel their own sessions online via the link below.

  2. If you are a new patient or you are coming in for a new injury, you should sign up for an initial evaluation.

  3. The schedule is open 30 days in advance meaning you can schedule out for 30 days.

**Note the schedule has been filling up rather quickly. We suggest booking sessions as far in advance as possible

Do I need a script from an MD?

  1. NY has direct access and both Marissa and Jessi have been practicing for more than three years so they can see patients for treatment without a PT script.

  2. That being said, according to NY law, the patient will need to obtain a script from their MD after 10 treatments or 30 days-whichever comes first. So if you’re planning to be seen for a prolonged period, you’ll need to visit an MD and obtain a script. After this time-period, you will be responsible for supplying FlySpace with an up-to-date script.

  3. If you need a referral to an MD, the FlySpace team is happy to point you in the right direction!
